Our Opinion

After a $165 million renovation, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino is back with a complete rebirth of everything that was old and dated. Pretty much the whole hotel has been renovated and transformed into a lively "new" hotel. The pool area is amazing. What also makes the Tropicana so great is that it often comes up a very competitive prices, meaning you get great value for a great hotel.

Located on the famed "Four Corners" of the Las Vegas Strip and Tropicana Ave, the all-new Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the last true landmark casino hotels in Las Vegas. Experience the South Beach inspired transformation including a fresh redesign of every room and suite, the casino, restaurants and the legendary four-acre pool complete with swim-up Black Jack table and the popular Nikki Beach Club and Club Nikki. The look and feel of the new Tropicana Las Vegas is vibrant and exciting, filled with the sultry rhythm of a hot Havana night.

"Just spent 10 days at the Tropicana and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent service and friendliness of the staff. The newly renovated room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was extra comfortable. We recommend breakfast at Nikki's. Special thanks to Gwenn, the Concierge, and the Bell clerk who impressed us with their competence and helpfulness.

"Newly renovated Tropicana is nice but very basic. Not much in the way of restaurants or shopping in the hotel and the Club Tower is a long walk to get to. The pool is fabulous and huge, staff very friendly and helpful."
